Whether you are an experienced clay target competition shooter or someone who is new to the sport and is interested in giving it a try, we welcome you all - men and women of all ages. The following will hopefully answer your most burning questions but please do contact us if you still have further questions otherwise we look forward to seeing you at our club range.

Trying the sport

RCCTC like most clubs, have provisions for non-shooters to come and try the sport under supervision of appropriately licenced members. This includes individual instruction and coaching, the use of a club firearm, ammunition and all required safety equipment. ‚Äč

Beginner’s activities are designed for individuals and small groups who wish to try clay target shooting in a safe, relaxed and cost effective way. Bookings are available on the 1st and 4th Saturdays of the month. To enquire or book please contact us though our Contact Us page.

All programs would generally run for two to three hours, depending on numbers and experience levels. All participants will need some form of photo id such as a drivers licence. The minimum age for juniors is 11 years old and the club has a range of shotguns available for use by participants.

Beginners Package

Safety brief and instruction, safety equipment, ammunition, 25 targets(combination of DTL and sporting) and use of a club firearm under supervision of a coach. This activity is great for small groups, family and friends up to five people ie. birthday or just a morning out.

Groups

For larger business groups, social club, team building, buck's party, hen's party, or just a great morning out with your business colleagues. Bookings are available by prior arrangement. To enquire or book please contact us though our Contact Us page
